A vacancy has arisen within the Platform Screen Door Department for an Electronic Systems Engineer, Grade L.
The Role
Working as part of the PSD Engineering Team configuring products and systems for Door Control Applications. This role includes:-
?Liaising with customers during all phases of the project.
?Defining application requirements.
?Configuring generic products hardware and software.
?Producing product configuration and system test specifications.
?Supporting system commissioning tests.
The Candidate
?Willing to travel and undertake technical discussions with customers.
?Understanding control systems and system integration concepts.
?Experience of requirements capture and system testing techniques.
?Demonstrate knowledge of Electronics and Software design disciplines.
?Be familiar with distributed control systems - CAN bus an advantage.
?Be prepared to work within a strict quality control system.
?Ideally have experience of programming PLCs.
?Candidates are expected to have an analytical approach to problem-solving and good communication skills.
?Ideally educated to HNC * Degree level in Mechatronics or similar discipline.
?Experience of serial communications protocols (MODBUS).
